Ok, I need some help. Here are a couple options of how I'm thinking of laying out the 'I Spy' quilt I'm making for the baby. Which one do you prefer? I can't promise I'll go with the consensus because I'm pretty much leaning one particular way right now, but I'm very interested to get some other opinions just to be sure. Thanks! Here they are in no particular order:
Option 1

I personally like Option 1 better. I just like the white space that goes all the way around the blocks. :-)
Very cute either way. I like Option 2 a little better.
I like option 1- I think it makes the squares look more intentional. Which one was your preference?
Call me old school, I like the second one. I don't know why, but it seems more cozy and I think the white blocks make it easier to focus on each individual square. Either way, your going to have a FUN quilt! Great idea.
Hmm... so far it's half and half. Guess it doesn't relly matter then what I choose. :) I'm leaning towards option 1. It just seems a little easier on the eyes as a whole. But option 2 would be easier to make with the squares rather than the smaller rows in between the squares. Plus it's going to look a little different once it's all sewn together with allowances for the seams. I may have to re-create the border to be a little thicker. I'll keep playing with it. Thanks all!
