If I were a bit skinnier to start out with, I'd document my belly progress from the beginning. However, you'd mostly just be checking out my flab and no one wants that... so once I start to show, I'll be sure to share. In the meantime, you can enjoy our baby's first photo. The OB/Gyn I'm going to has 3D ultrasound capability so it's pretty amazing how much detail is already visible at 9 weeks gestation. I really hope this technology helps women to re-think abortion. Looks like a baby to me!
Like I said, I'm not showing yet, but I'm definitely not fitting into all my regular clothes anymore. But I'm not big enough for maternity clothes. I guess I should just normally wear my clothes a little looser or something. This is the difficult part for me right now. If only I wore scrubs to work. You lucky nurses and dentists you... At least I'm not a super high rolling business person. I'd be buying two new wardrobes. The in-between wardrobe and the maternity wardrobe. I'm making it work with what I've got for the most part. Buying a few more of those empire waist shirts and such. I so should have started investing in those ahead of time since they're in style anyway. The bella band has been helpful. It's a stretchy tube top type thing to go around your belly. It helps to keep maternity pants up when you wear them too early, and lets you wear your too tight regular pants unbuttoned by covering up and smoothing out your undone button. They're not the most comfortable, but not too bad. I'd reccomend having at least one.

congrats Rhonda - super excited for you! looking forward to future updates...
That picture is amazing. So much more crisp than the old inkblots they used to be.
I think the worst time is when you're constantly hungry but still early enough along that you just are gaining weight without a bump to show... but then I had people asking me if I was pregnant right up until 8 1/2 months!
you'd better update this more often with baby news :)
