My boy

My boy has been growing since last I posted any photos of him. Just thought I'd update. Most anyone who knows me has seen him in person or on facebook, but my blog needs some updating.

I love my sweet two and a half year old. He's talking up a storm, nearly potty trained, loves puzzles, vehicles of any kind, books, dinosaurs, TV, piggy-back rides, roughhousing with his daddy, playing with friends, and making messes. Oh yeah, and he still loves his pacifier/nannie (not sure how we're going to get rid of that thing for good...).

He's now picky about the things he eats, but I feel like he's not as bad as some. I've taken the attitude that as long as he's eating several healthy things I'll be happy that I am blessed with food to feed him and not complain about the lack of variety in his diet. We keep trying to get him to try new things (or re-try things he used to like), but we try not to fight with him about food too much.

He captivates hearts wherever he goes because of his sweet little personality and the cute way he talks. I get comments all the time on how great of a kid he is. We are truly blessed. I suppose we have a little something to do with how we raise him and all, but I know a large part of it is the personality he was born with. I get all sorts of kisses and hugs and "I love you's" from my sweet little boy. He makes me smile.

He's also into throwing little fits when he can't get his way. We're all selfish sinners after all... :)
