Xavier is 3 months old - how time does fly. He had his first Thanksgiving and ended up being able to see his Grandpa Blosser and Uncle Peter again since my Grandpa passed away just a few days before Thanksgiving and they were in the state for the funeral. So happy and sad times, but overall happy, since my grandpa went to be with Jesus after a long life well lived. We do miss him a lot.
My friend Jessi was in Bloomington this week and came over to take some photos of Xavier and me. We were going to do a whole family shot but the weather didn't cooperate and I was a bit nervous to be on the roads, especially with Xavier. The plan had been to meet Scott on campus so he wouldn't have to be off work long - and because that didn't work we decided on a low key momma/baby shoot. I'm the family photographer, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to get me in a few shots - proof for posterity that I'm actually part of my baby's life. :) And since we did that here at our house and Jessi moved a few things around to maximize the light, I thought I'd take advantage of the setup and do a little additional photoshoot on my own after she left. Here are a couple that I got. He was sort of overtired and couldn't quite make it without the pacifier. :)
