Happy 4th!

Happy American Independence Day! We had a rainy day today, so no good for fireworks. Last night however, we had someone in our neighborhood put on quite the fireworks display out in the non-developed part of our neighborhood right behind our house. So we pulled out some chairs on our back patio and enjoyed the show!
Scott's family was here visiting and we had a nice time with them. We stopped at the farmers market today and thought these tomatoes looked extra delicious. We were right. They were scrumptious. And they're so festive too!
We also sampled the kettle corn, which I had never tried before at our farmers market and it was amazing as well. They cook it right there in an actual kettle. Pretty nifty. (Didn't stop to get a picture since it was still pretty rainy - maybe next time.)

So after a cook-in lunch (on the George Foreman grill instead of the charcoal one outside) the brothers took a little nap. Of course the dogs found some room and curled up for a snooze too. How cute is that?!
