Reunion!

We got back this evening from a couple days in Chicago for a mini Woodstock class of 98 reunion. It was great fun to see everyone again and enjoy some delicious khana. Yumm. Although I wasn't focusing too much on the food since I was having such a good time catching up with everyone and just soaking up being together once again. Here are some pictures. If you were part of my graduating class you should know who most people are in the photos. The other strangers are significant others or spouses. T's husband is Kyle, A's is Sherwin and their baby, K's 'significant other' is Dave, and of course you know me and my man. :) Here we are trying to take a serious Indian picture. Not everyone succeeded in the whole effort to be serious at the same time.

And this one is of everyone who attended the event. There were a couple very recent graduates as well as one person from class of 95, one from class of 99 and one past staff member. I'll put more detail on the woodstock alumni site for those of you who care who was there.

A's baby is just adorable. Look at those eyes. She is being raised well to enjoy some delicious naan!

In order to be able to attend this Chicago activity, we needed a place to stay for a night or two and Scott's friend Joe and his girlfriend graciously agreed to let us stay at their place. We really enjoyed being able to spend some time with them as well. They have a garage now with space enough for our car (just barely) so we didn't even have to worry about parking, which was such a relief. C made chocolate chip scones for us! Yum. And they took us to a couple great Chicago eateries when we weren't spending time with my classmates. This picture I thought was hilarious. Scott and Joe spending quality time together. No, really, they are. They're on the internet playing Guild Wars together. Male bonding at it's finest. I suppose C and I spent some time reading our separate books and I'm sure we looked a bit antisocial as well.
