Friends

So Monday was a sad day. We helped Dan and Anna pack their moving truck for Arizona. It's been nice having them here in Bloomington with us and now they must move on. Sigh... Such is life. But I'm really glad they were able to be here while they were. We sort of helped to convince them to move here to finish school so at least we could be in the same part of the country for a little while. We know they have wanderlust so it's expected that they would move on after about 2 years. We had lots of fun memories with them while they were here so we're happy for that. And now we have an excuse to go visit Arizona again.

So here are some pictures of us on moving day. And our last coffee time at Starbucks for a while where pretty much no subject is taboo among friends... And Scott made me eat a chocoloate covered espresso bean. I think I've had one before and I knew I didn't like them but I got peer pressured into it. Y-U-C-K. The first little bit was ok because there was lots of chocolate, but by the end its just crunchy coffee bean. Who wants to eat that??! I don't understand.

The last part of our week has been filled with socializing so it's been fun. Watched two kind of not-that-great movies, (the Constant Gardener and Corpse Bride) but the company was excellent and the food was great. (I fell asleep in Corpse Bride, but that's just what I do in a lot of movies after 11pm these days. It had funny parts - I'll have to watch the last part again today to see what happened. Isn't that sad? And Constant Gardener was interesting - I stayed awake! - but just one of those kind of artsy movies with a political agenda.)

Oh and also on a sidenote, I'd just like to say that we have snow on the ground again here... No one said it was going to snow - no one warned me. But I'm ok with it. There's not much anyway... And for all my complaining about snow, I prefer it over tornado weather any day.
