Two posts in one day??!!

It's feast or famine with me. Two posts in one day - I know, a little overkill, but I had some more thoughts to share - several random things that are going on that really, no one is probably interested in. But if you are, this is for you! :)

I love getting organized. It just doesn't happen very often. I've been putting off cleaning out the guest room closet for months and this weekend I'm finally doing it. Why is it so hard to get rid of little trinkety things that you never look at just because they have sentimental value? It's so annoying being attached to things. But I'm working at only keeping things that are really important or might have meaning to a future generation. My MIL is having a garage sale in a few weeks so hopefully we can sell some of the stuff that we aren't using.

I recently stopped being a Longaberger consultant and it was good to get rid of the paperwork for that. With monthy fliers and information on how to sell the product coming at you every month as well as supplies to have a show and little hostess gifts and such it can all pile up... Maybe someday when I have a house with more space to devote one section to a home office I'll be able to pick that or some other home business back up again. but then again, I'm not much of a salesperson.

Argh, the weekend is almost over. So sad. I vote we need three day weekends and 4 day workweeks. I think that would be so much better. Just one extra day please?? sigh... oh well. Guess I'd better get back to my organizing. I think we'll be going over to D&A's place this evening when S has a study break. And it can be my work break as long as I get back to working here soon. D&A moved into a tiny new apartment. Something like 350 sq ft. But it's cheaper and they'll probably only be in it a year since A will be done with school soon. I haven't seen it yet so interested to see what it's like.

Oh, one more thing. I had a McDs vanilla ice cream cone last week for the first time in probably years and then S and I shared a DQ butterscotch dipped cone yesterday and I am still craving more vanilla softserve in those crappy styrofoamy ice cream cones. So good! I...must...resist...temptation...
