Last Weekend

I finally downloaded pictures off our camera from the concert we went to in Detroit last weekend. You can't take pictures during the concert so this is during intermission. The Detroit Symphony Orchestra performed the music and it was conducted by Arnie Roth (principal conductor of the Chicagoland Pops as well as a member of Mannheim Steamroller). I especially enjoyed the few pieces that included classical guitar. One was a flamenco style which was fun. All the pieces are written by a Japaneese composer, Nobuo Uematsu for the Final Fantasy video games of which I think there are about 11 installments as well as several spinoffs. I'm not a big gamer, but S & J are so they wanted to go and I went along and definitely enjoyed the music.
