Settling in

So we are settling in and we finally have internet access again. The internet access took a few weeks since the company we were going to use told us we could get a particular service, made us wait for the technician only to tell us the day before the technician came that the service wasn't available to us yet. That happened twice! So we just stuck with cable and were up and running the next day.
I posted some more new pics on Picasa. I took them today so they're about as current as you can get. I was kind of waiting for things to get put away a little better before sharing 'after' photos but it seems like it's going to take a while to get things exactly the way I imagine them. So what you see now is what it's going to be for a little while. I'm looking forward to decorating a bit more, but not sure exactly what is going to go where.

Oh man, Tobey is so funny. I'm sitting here at the computer and he's in the hall and Ashton is sitting next to me. Tobey is out there flailing his head around playfully trying to get Ashton to chase him. The second Ashton moves Tobey is gone in a flash making a run down the hallway. I'm so glad they like to play together. We took them to the vet this week for their annual vaccinations. I'm glad we only have to do that once a year... Unfortunately though, Tobey has some glands to the 'rear' of his body, if you get my drift, that might need to be removed. They keep filling up with fluid that doesn't get excreted when he does the rest of his excreting and let me tell you it is N-A-S-T-Y stuff. Maybe pet insurance isn't such a bad idea. We probably pay more for their health than we do our own since insurance covers most of our issues. Is having dogs worth it? Yes, no, I'm not sure. We're pretty attached now though, I don't think they're going anywhere soon as much as it's up to us.
