Another thing I'm trying to do is figure out how to take pictures without looking suspicious. A lot of the trees and flowers I want to photograph are on other people's property and I would feel a little awkward wandering around someone else's yard, so I've tried to stay on the sidewalks as much as possible. I was going to get a photo of some pretty red tulips the other day and then realized that since they were in front of a bank it might not be the wisest choice. :) If I get arrested for suspected terrorism, you'll know why. I just wanted to take a picture of the flower out in front of the top secret national defense building or whatever. I say, if you don't want someone taking pictures of your property, don't plant such nice stuff outside. It's not my fault that they're so pretty and I HAVE to take pictures of them. Shesh... makes sense to me.

So, by the way, the best photo ops for springtime plants are in the older B'ton neighborhoods. 1st and 2nd street near IU and Prospect Hill. Absolutely beautiful. The architecture is great too. I love driving through those neighborhoods. I hope I don't get in an accident someday because I'm gawking while driving. I need to follow my husband's advice and 'watch the road!' But the road is boring.
